An alternative symbol of aggregation.
The small church has come down to us completely depersonalized. The invasive restructuring of the last century and the subsequent acts of vandalism that the castle suffered in the years of its abandonment have deprived it of its original characteristics. Without door, holy water stoup, altar, with the frescoes almost completely covered or destroyed, the accesses to the sacristy are walled up. An empty room, with whitewashed walls and a floor covered with more modern bricks at the ancient altar.
Given the unavailability of the original brick of the floor, it was decided to occupy that space with a fireplace, as an alternative symbol of aggregation. To the right of the fireplace, access to the old sacristy has been restored, which today leads to the literary café.
